Maybe I’ve read one spy novel too many, but I won’t be surprised if intelligence analysts at CIA are trying to determine if al Qaeda members are communicating with one another through blogging.

It’s not hard to imagine that people could be blogging for various clandestine purposes, such as the aforementioned sinister scenario. On the benign side, some are probably sending their romantic interests secret messages of adoration, which they cannot deliver in person for one reason or another.

However, it would be entirely comical if the romantic effort of the love-struck person was erroneously interpreted as terrorist’s communication by the spy agency.
